ChromaGen lenses are available as spectacle lenses or contact lenseses. They are used to manage reading difficulties in conditions such as dyslexia, pattern glare syndrome, and colour vision deficiencies.

Chromagen lenses for colour vision deficiency
'Colour blindness' or colour deficiency affects over 3 million people in the UK in some form or another. Approximately 10% of males are colour deficient but only 0.6-0.8% of females are colour deficient. It is caused by a deficiency of certain chemicals in the retina of the eye.

Do you need to book a ChromaGen Assessment?
Before having a ChromaGen™ assessment, you will need to have a full eye examination at our practice. It is very common for people with colour vision or reading difficulties to have other visual problems that need attention before looking at the use ChromaGen™ lenses.
Book a full eye examination
If you have already had a full eye examination at our practice within the last year, then you may book a ChromaGen™ assessment.
If you are an existing ChromaGen™ user, book a ChromaGen™ follow up appointment
