Contact Lens Fitting


We fit a huge variety of contact lens types to patients of all ages, & all prescription types. As well as fitting a very large number of standard soft and gas permeable lenses (in single vision, bifocal & multifocal form). We also provide cosmetic tinted lenses even for those who need no vision correction both for theatrical & social use.

Contact Lens Education

We provide education and training to individuals or groups on contact lens application and fitting. Previous experience includes tutoring for final qualifying examination, lecturing to groups, and running practice based workshops.

Keratoconus Management


We are a keratoconus friendly practice, and are experienced in the following keratoconus management methods:
  • Spectacles
  • Soft contact lenses, including Ultravision Kerasoft and Acuity Soft K
  • Gas permeable contact lenses, including Rose K, and Lensdynamics Dyna Z intralimbal
  • Scleral contact lenses, including Innovative Sclerals
Specialist Contact Lenses

We have experience in fitting a wide range of lenses for the following conditions on a regular basis:
  • Corneal dystrophies such as keratoconus
  • Scleral Lenses
  • Failed refractive surgery vision correction
  • Regular astigmatism
  • Irregular astigmatism, e.g. due to corneal trauma, LASER refractive surgery failure, and corneal grafts
  • Orthokeratology - to reshape the corneal epithelium, to give vision correction all waking hours, using no contact lenseses or spectacles
  • Cosmetic, prosthetic lenses for aniridia, leukocoria, & heterochromia irides
