LASER refractive surgery assessment
John Davidson has experience with pre-surgery & post surgery assessments for LASER refractive surgery.
He has worked previously with Ophthalmologists at Sunderland Eye Infirmary's "Site for Eyes" LASER & surgery unit. Patients are referred to the specialists at this hospital based unit if found suitable for treatment.
Patients who are not suitable for surgical treatment, or who have had failed previous surgical treatment, are also managed using contact lenseses or spectacles prescribed at our practice.
We use digital image capture slit lamps, and corneal topography as part of the assessment of suitability, and liase with the surgeons at the unit as necessary.
