How much does the treatment cost

Spread the Cost

We offer the option of paying for the procedure monthly, from your nominated bank account.
We also accept payment by all major credit & debit cards.

Fully Inclusive Ongoing Eyecare

Following fitting, we provide an ongoing treatment program from £30 per month (depending on lens type fitted).

Following the initial pre-fitting assessments & fitting appointments (see next section), the remaining cost can be spread out from £30 per month

NHS patients entitled to a voucher (such as for those under 16 years old, or entitled to income support) are allowed to use their voucher towards the cost of the initial pair of lenses. The cost of the NHS voucher is used against the cost of lenses, and cannot be used towards the cost of eyecare and fees.

The value of the voucher will be refunded once sufficient payments towards the lenses have been made. This will be in month 3 once more than the value of the voucher has been collected by standing order towards the cost of the lenses.

After providing an initial supply of complimentary disinfecting & cleaning solutions, all further solutions are bought by yourself, as required. These are not included in this price. You do, however receive 10% off the normal RRP on solution costs if purchased at Querido & Davidson.

Initial Pre-Fitting Assessment Fees

Fitting is performed in 3 stages. If, during the initial assessment period, you are found not to be suitable for treatment, or you decided not to continue, you will only be expected to pay the initial assessment examination & fitting fees, pro-rata, as applicable, as shown (correct at 1st January 2007& subject to change):

  • Full Eye Examination £44.95 (£19.95 for NHS eligible patients)
  • CRT suitability examination & Corneal Topography £40.00
  • Fitting Appointments £100 in total
  • Total £184.95 (Total for NHS patients £159.95)

Ongoing Cost, Post-Fitting

Following fitting, you will be put onto a standing order to pay for your lenses and ongoing eyecare. This is from £30 per month in total (depending on lens type), and includes all future eyecare and examinations until termination.

After your first 12 month treatment period, you will need to attend for a 6 monthly check up on your eyes & CRT lenses, and also for full eye examinations usually once every 2 years (unless advised otherwise due to medical reasons). It is best to remain on a standing order scheme so that we can provide you with new lenses at least once per year automatically.

Refund Policy - Orthokeratology Lenses

Lenses are paid for on standing order in arrears therefore payments towards the cost of lenses are not refundable.
In the event if lost or damaged "Paragon CRT" lenses, they are to be paid for in full before more lenses will be ordered.
In the event if lost or damaged “OrthoK” lenses, the damage and loss replacement cover scheme provided by the manufacturer will cover broken lenses free of charge and lost lenses up to a maximum of 2 lenses per year free of charge.

Fees

No refunds will be given for initial eye examination or fitting costs
No refund of monthly ongoing eyecare fees will be refunded
