Am I suitable or Orthokeratology?

For adults and children, at present Orthokeratology, OrthoK, iGo OVC & Paragon CRT™ is only suitable for the correction of myopia (short-sightedness) of up to -6.00, and also for the reduction of astigmatism of up to 1.75DC. It is not yet suitable for the correction of hypermetropia (long-sightedness).

Orthokeratology & Children
Orthokeratology is extremely good for the correction of children, as contact lenses and spectacles are then not required for sports and outdoor activities.

Research has just been published that has shown a 50% reduction in the development of short sightedness in children using Orthokeratology lenses. More information

We fit a huge variety of contact lenses types to patients across the whole of the UK. We supply lenses to people of all ages, & all prescription types. Using corneal topography and slit lamp image capture we provide the highest standard of care to all our contact lenses wearing patients.

We specialise in iGo OVC, Ortho-K and Paragon CRT Orthokeratology work for all ages from 6 upwards. We are an accredited Chromagen contact lens practice. We supply varifocal contact lenses and contact lenses to correct astigmatism. We can also supply theatrical contact lenses for television productions.

In 2006 we were awarded the title of Contact lens practice of the year at the UK Optician awards.
